Warm up with Hot Cocoa. Enjoy hot cocoa and a stroll through downtown Chambersburg at the Cocoa Crawl event. Buy a custom mug and sample cocoas from participating businesses. Friday, 5:30 to 8 p.m. in downtown Chambersburg.
Support Crafters. The Waynesboro Area YMCA will hold its annual Holiday Craft Show on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the YMCA. The event will feature local vendors showcasing their crafty creations and products, ranging from holiday gift ideas and decorations to creative nail designs. Admission is free, and vendor rental space fees are used to support the YMCA’s “Partner with Youth” program. The Waynesboro Area YMCA Swim Team will also host a concession area where attendees can purchase food and support the WAVES swimmers.
Enjoy a Holiday Spook. NJP, Cody DesBiens, and Satori Hawes will host a 4-hour ghost hunt at the Historic 1912 Hoover House on Saturday, Dec. 2. The event will start at 6 p.m. and cost $75 per person. Attendees will have the chance to meet the paranormal couple and see and hear about some of their haunted objects. After the meet and greet, everyone will participate in a 4-hour ghost hunt of the Hoover House.
Have Fido’s Photo with Santa. The Antietam Humane Society will host an Open House and Pet Pictures with Santa event on Sunday, Dec. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. Attendees can bring their furry, scaled, or feathered friends to get their photo with Santa for a $5 donation per pet. In addition to pet photos, the event will also feature refreshments and the opportunity to meet some of the shelter’s available animals.
Be Dazzled by the Lights. On Friday, Dec. 1, Hagerstown Parks & Recreation will present the 2023 City Park Lighting. The event will begin with free family-friendly activities held in City Park from 5 to 8 p.m. At 7 p.m., there will be an official lighting ceremony for the holiday lights and music show on City Park Lake. From December 1st to December 31st, visitors can drive through City Park, tune their car radios to 90.3FM, and enjoy the music and light show nightly from 5pm-11pm.
