SMITHSBURG, MD- The Town of Smithsburg has spoken to the Communications Construction Group/ Antietam Broadband (CCG) they are in the process of a major upgrade of all Fiber-optic cable lines ( Antietam Cable) throughout the Town limits and eventually branching outside of Town.
Most all work inside the town is overhead wiring and most of that has already been completed. Their subcontractor is currently installing underground lines in the Whispering Hills area.
All work is taking place within the utility easement on each property, all restoration will be completed by the contractor.
