WAYNESBORO- The WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital Auxiliary is set to host its annual Greens Holiday Bazaar on Friday, Dec. 1, and Saturday, Dec. 2, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Welty Medical Building located at 12525 North Welty Road, just west of Tractor Supply.
The Bazaar will feature a wide variety of festive items, including artificial wreaths and arrangements, fresh wreaths, homemade crafts, and holiday décor. All proceeds from the event will benefit WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital. Cash and checks will be accepted at the Bazaar (no credit cards).
In addition to the Bazaar, the WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital Auxiliary is also hosting its annual “Lights of Hope” project. The project, which began in 1991, involves lighting up the trees in front of the hospital with lights in honor or memory of loved ones. Each light represents a $10 donation.
The “Scroll of Honor,” a book which lists the names of all honorees, is on display at all times in the outpatient lobby of the hospital. Brochures for both the “Lights of Hope” project and the Greens Holiday Bazaar can be picked up in the hospital gift shop Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or in the outpatient lobby.
