WAYNESBORO- The Rouzerville Lions Club is once again spreading holiday cheer with its 19th annual Breakfast with Santa, promising a delightful event filled with delectable treats, a jolly visit from Santa Claus, and even a chance to ride the Red Run Express train.
The festivities will unfold on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Rouzerville Community Center (formerly the Rouzerville Ruritan Building). Families are invited to indulge in a hearty breakfast spread featuring fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs, savory sausage, refreshing orange juice, warm hot chocolate, and invigorating coffee.
Adult tickets for the event are priced at $8, while children 12 and under can enjoy the festivities free of charge. And to make the day extra special, Santa Claus will be making a grand appearance, eager to hear Christmas wishes and pose for cherished photos with the little ones.
Weather permitting, the Washington Township Police Department will be adding to the holiday magic by providing train rides on the Red Run Express from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children and adults alike will delight in the whimsical journey aboard the festive train.
