WAYNESBORO — Waynesboro will host a First Friday Turkey Trot scavenger hunt on Friday, Nov. 3, 5 to 8 p.m. The event is free and open to both kids and adults.
Participants can register at Main Street Park at 4:45 p.m. Scavengers will be tasked with finding turkey feathers hidden at participating businesses downtown. Once they have found all the feathers, participants must return to Main Street Park to show their photos and be entered to win prizes.
In addition to the scavenger hunt, there will be live music from Brian Lutz, food from FAT Russ’ BBQ – Food Truck and Catering Service, and crafts and games for the kids.
First Friday is a monthly event in Waynesboro that features live music, food, and activities for all ages. The event is designed to promote the downtown area and support local businesses.
