Washington County, MD Declared Drought Disaster Area

Hagerstown, MD – The Washington County Department of Economic and Business Development has announced that Maryland Governor Wes Moore, in conjunction with USDA Secretary of Agriculture, Thomas Vilsack, have officially declared that Washington County, MD qualifies for Drought Disaster Relief. 

Washington County, MD has not received adequate rainfall for the last 8 or more consecutive weeks making Washington County farm operators eligible for certain assistance from the Farm Service Agency.
