Last Week’s Program (10/31/23 bulletin)
Rotary members Greg Lyon-Loftus and Derek Furry reminded us that Rotary has helped make sure that 20 Million children are walking today who otherwise might have been paralyzed. Thanks to programs such as Rotary’s Polio-Plus, only two countries remain endemic with polio in 2023 and have reduced polio cases by 99.9%. Eradication of this terrible disease has been a priority of our local club and we look forward to taking a leading role with District 7360 to accomplish this goal.
