Kim Bowen, executive director of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra shared with us the many educational outreaches that the MSO offers to all ages. She pointed to the mentor program which matches a young musician one-on-one with a professional. Many of the musicians are members of other orchestras and bring a multitude of talents to the organization. She also reviewed the terrific concert schedule that the Symphony has planned for the 2023-2024 year. Kim highlighted the iconic Maryland Theater facility that hosts the Symphony and which is a terrific asset to the arts venue in the region.
