Halloween is just around the corner, and many area municipalities have designated trick-or-treat nights. Here is a schedule of upcoming events:
- Greencastle and Antrim Township: 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 (rain date October 27)
- Mercersburg: 6-8 p.m.on Saturday, Oct. 28 (rain date 4-6pm on Sunday, October 29)
- Chambersburg: 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31 (The borough does not schedule an official trick-or-treat night, but this is the time it recommends.)
- Maugansville, MD: 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31
- Shippensburg: 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31
- Waynesboro: 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31
- Mont Alto Borough: 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26
In addition to trick-or-treating, several area businesses are hosting Halloween events. Here are a few:
- Franklin County First Responders and Law Enforcement: 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at Chambersburg Area Middle School North
- Teen Halloween Costume Party: 5 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 at the
- Washington Township Trunk or Treat: 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at the Washington Township Police Department.
- Saint Andrew Trunk or Treat: 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29 at Saint Andrew Catholic School Parking lot.
- Hagerstown Fairgrounds Park: Trick or Treat Drive Thru on Thursday, Oct. 26, 3-8 p.m.
- Fort Ritchie Trunk or Treat: 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Fort Ritchie Community Center.
