Looking for a new friend? The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter is featuring these Pets of the Week. For more information, visit http://www.cvas-pets.org/ or call 717-263-5791.

Bunette came into the shelter after being found fending for herself in the wild, which is not the way a domestic bunny should live! She is a sweet girl that has some spunk and knows what she wants. Bunette loves her veggies and enjoys playing with the toys in her enclosure and rearranging her living space for the perfect Feng shui. She has been spayed since she arrived at the shelter. Could you help Bunette find her second chance?

MAURICE

Maurice is a happy go lucky guy that loves to be with people! He is around 3 years old and the definitely of Heinz 57 mix. We think he has terrier in there for sure, but it’s tough to say what else. When he arrived at the shelter as a stray, Maurice had burnt paw pads and a bad ear infection. He has since been treated and has recovered nicely. Maurice knows sit and may know other commands that we have not figured out yet. He loves to play and walk outside. He does okay on leash but may pull when excited. Maurice does seem very interested in cats and may chase them, so a home without cats would be best for him. Due to no past history with children, an age restriction for children in the home may apply. Please discuss this with shelter staff. Do you have the right spot for Maurice?
