CHAMBERSBURG— The Strange Days Makers Fest is coming to town, promising a new experience for locals and visitors alike. This isn’t your average craft market, as the event celebrates all things on the fringe.
The Strange Days Makers Fest will take place on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Remedy Park, located at 251 Grant St. in Chambersburg. The park is situated next to Gear House and across from Jim’s Farmers Market.Free parking is available in the Remedy Park parking lot or off-street parking.
Over 30 alternative artists, vendors, and unique makers will be showcasing their original artwork, handmade items, graphic apparel, oddities, vintage wares, vinyl records, comic books, jewelry, collectibles, and much more. The event is free to the public, with no entry fee.
The first 100 attendees will receive a free graphic tote bag. Live music will be playing throughout the day, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The Strange Days Makers Fest is not just about celebrating the local arts, but also about giving back to the community. The event will help raise money for the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter. Tattoo raffles from Incognito and Big Hot Olive will be available, along with some extra goodies. There will also be dogs looking for their forever homes.
