CVAS Pet of the Week: Yoshi

Looking for a new friend? The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter is featuring these Pets of the Week. For more information, visit http://www.cvas-pets.org/ or call 717-263-5791.

Yoshi was surrendered to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him due to their health. He was much loved in his previous home and is a 2 year old Shiba Inu. He would do best as the only dog in the home, as he does not care for the company of other canines. Yoshi did live with cats and did okay with them in his previous home, but slow supervised introductions would be best. Yoshi is a sweet guy that loves attention and loves to chase balls! He can be on the anxious side here at the shelter but may do better with this once he is in a home environment. Yoshi has not been around young children so an age restriction for children in the home may apply, please discuss this with shelter staff. Could you give Yoshi his second chance?

FRITTERS

Fritters was brought into the shelter after being found abandoned in a house with 20 other cats. He was covered in fleas, skinny, and was missing a lot of fur. Since his arrival at the shelter, he has been treated for the fleas, has gained some weight and his fur has started to grow back. Fritters would love to find out what it means to have a loving forever home. Could you show him?
