CHAMBERSBURG – The Franklin County Democratic Committee (FCDC) will be hosting a forum featuring candidates for the Chambersburg Area School District (CASD) Board of Directors on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 6:30 pm.
The forum is open to all members of the Chambersburg area community and offers voters a unique opportunity to hear from and meet their 2023 school board candidates.
All seven of the candidates nominated by both the Democratic and Republican Parties have been invited. As of print time, six of the seven candidates have confirmed their attendance with FCDC Chairman, Cameron Schroy.
The forum will be held at the Chambersburg Recreation Center, Bard Hall, 235 S. Third Street, Chambersburg, PA at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, October 11.
To submit a question to be asked of the candidates, please email the Franklin County Democratic Committee at [email protected] with the subject line ‘Forum.’ Only questions submitted by or before Noon on Tuesday, October 10th, will be considered.
Following community questions, the forum will feature a meet-and-greet period with the candidates to allow time for one-on-one Q&A’s.
