Meet BeeGee our Pet of The Week!
This two-year-old girl came to us in May 2023 as a stray and is still looking for her forever home!
BeeGee is a ball of energy and affection! She is always happy to go for walks or zoom around the yard. When she is super excited, BeeGee will hop up to say hello and to give hugs. She loves to toss around and play with stuffed toys or chase after balls through the yard! BeeGee walks very nicely for her size and does better walking on a harness then she does with a collar. BeeGee knows sit, down, shake and is always eager to try and shake with both paws! She loves her treats (especially chew bones!) and would love to learn more in her forever home!
This extra-large girl loves people of all shapes and sizes and has done well with everyone she has met! Young children who are not used to large ,rowdy dogs may not be the best fit for BeeGee as she is not always aware of her size! BeeGee would do best in a home without cats or other small animals, and can be very selective with other dogs. Her previous adopters did say she was starting to display resource guarding behaviors with food and toys towards the other dog in the home. We are willing to try a meet-and-greet with BeeGee but this big girl may do best as the only pup in the home!
