Michelle Gordon’s roots run deep in Washington County, where she has been a lifelong resident. After graduating from Williamsport High School, she earned her Bachelor of Arts from Hood College and her Master’s of Business Administration from Mount Saint Mary’s University, Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business. With over 30 years of finance and accounting experience, including more than two decades in governmental accounting, Gordon’s credentials are a testament to her expertise.
Prior to her current role, Gordon served as the Finance Director for Jefferson County, West Virginia, for over seven years. During her tenure, she exhibited exceptional leadership by guiding officials, departments, and the community through the financial challenges of the global pandemic. She played a pivotal role in technology improvements that streamlined budgeting processes, ensuring financial transparency for the local community.
