CHAMBERSBURG- The Chambersburg Volunteer Fireman’s Museum is gearing up for an exciting season. Antique and vintage fire apparatus will be on display at the Fireman’s Museum located at 441 Broad Street in Chambersburg, PA from now through September 24th. Visitors can expect to see a variety of old fire trucks. The museum will be open for visitors and tours during these displays. This is a great opportunity to learn about Chambersburg’s fire history, Chambersburg history, and family history.
The schedule for the displays is as follows:
- July 23: Open Date
- August 6: 1941 Peter Pirsch Aerial Ladder, Chambersburg, PA; 1968 Seagraves Aerial Ladder, Cumberland, MD
- August 20: 1971 Mack, Newville, PA; 1916 American LaFrance, Newville, PA
- September 10: 1969 American LaFrance, Rockland, NY
- September 24: 1957 Mack, Mount Union, PA; 1931 Chevrolet, McConnellsburg, PA; 1941 Chevrolet, McConnellsburg, PA
