WAYNESBORO – The Independence Day parade took place on Tuesday, July 4th, starting at 9:30 a.m. The parade route moved east on Main Street, turning right onto Myrtle Ave., and disbanded in the Senior High School parking lot. The parade was a celebration of the nation’s independence and featured floats, marching bands, and community groups. The event was well-attended, with many families lining the streets to watch the festivities.
