GREENCASTLE- The Greencastle -Antrim School District will present its first STEAM Expo and Fine Arts night May 9. The goal of this event is to bring the community together to celebrate student achievement, make meaningful connections to STEAM careers, and engage families in STEAM activities.
Hands on activities as well as make-and-takes will be available for students and families to participate in through out the Expo. Activities such as: face painting, big blue blocks, 3D bubble wands, pottery wheel demonstrations, 3D printing, corn hole, scarmble square puzzles, microscopes, and a story walk.
Local businesses, organizations, and hobby groups will be on site to highlight how they are using STEAM in our community. There will be demonstrations and presentations with opportunities for students and families to engage and interact with as well.

In the high school auditorium there will be a Film Festival. The festival features a range of films that were produced in the following courses: Video and Digital Production, Digital Production Studio and Digital Production Portfolio courses. The film festival is a celebration of creativity, innovation, and storytelling, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and inspire others with their art.
The STEAM Expo and Fine Arts Night will be held Tuesday, May 9, from 3 to 7 p.m. at 500 Leitersburg St, Greencastle.
