WAYNESBORO- The Rotary Club of Waynesboro submitted the following club news:

Jonathan Carver and his wife, Casey, from the Pennsylvania Lions Beacon Lodge Camp presented on the programs offered at the 583 acre site located in the Sugar Valley near Mount Union, PA. Originally begun in 1948 to provide blind and visually impaired individuals the opportunity to enjoy a camping experience, it has expanded to provide a summer camp not only for special needs children and adults but also, in the form of Project New Hope, as a retreat for all PA Disabled Veterans and their families. There is no charge for any of these veterans.
