CHAMBERSBURG- Break out your imagination for the April Showers Umbrella Parade. Participants are encouraged to design and craft an umbrella for a parade through downtown Chambersburg.
There will be a prize of $50 downtown dollars for best individual umbrella and best group umbrella.
In addition to the umbrella parade downtown businesses will be decorating their windows for a book walk. “Mel Fel” written by Corey R. Tabor is a children’s book about a little bird learning to fly and the bravery she must face. The book walk is hosted by the Coyle Free Library.
The parade kicks off at 15 South Main Street in Chambersburg on Friday, April 7 at 5:30 p.m. and the parade route will go through downtown Chambersburg. Registration not required.
