Chambersburg committee to meet

CHAMBERSBURG–The Chambersburg Parking, Traffic and Street Light Committee will meet today, Monday, April 3, at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers on the First Floor of the Utility Departments Addition to Borough Hall, 100 South Second St. The agenda is as follows:

1. Call meeting to order.

2. Approve minutes of February 6, 2022 meeting.

3. Review and discuss request for handicap parking space at 586 East King Street.

4. Review and discuss request for handicap parking space at 76 West Liberty Street, Apartment 109.

5. Preliminary discussion to consider changing the 900 block of Scotland Avenue from two-way to one-way northbound to improve traffic safety and sight line visibility that was referred by Town Council.

6. Review and discuss current parking law for on-street parking forrecreational vehicles and trailers in residential zoning districts that was referred by Town Council.

7. Review and discuss repealing and removing signage for Cruising Ordinance that was referred by Town Council.

8. Preliminary presentation of draft concepts from study of McKinley Street from CASHS to I-81 overpass.

9. Previously Discussed Items:

A. Installation of Leading Pedestrian Interval (LPI) at Fifth Avenue and Norland Avenue traffic signal as approved by Town Council.

10. Other matters as presented.

11. Adjourn with next regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, June 5, 2023.
