Mittens was brought into the shelter by the police after being found running. No one ever came forward for this sweet girl, so now she is looking for home to call her own! Mittens is around 2 years old and loves getting belly rubs. In fact, she asks for them frequently. She is an energetic girl that will need someone that can provide her with regular exercise. Due to energy and excitement level Mittens may be too much for small children, so an age restriction for children in the home may apply. Please discuss this with shelter staff. Mittens did test positive for a tick-borne disease known as Anaplasmosis, which she is currently on a medication course for and is doing well. Do you have the right place for Mittens?
Kitt came into the shelter as a stray and we found out that she loves attention and walks. She does pull a little on the leash, but does well with a “no pull” kind of leash. Kitt likes to carry her toys around in the play yard and knows sit and shake. She’s a 2-year-old terrier mix who is willing to work to both please and for treats! Due to no past history with children, an age restriction for children in the home may apply, so please discuss this with shelter staff. Kitt would love to find out what a loving forever home is all about!
