“Meet our sweet faced pet of the week, Rusty! This sweet boy has improved a lot since he has been at the shelter. When he is about to go on a walk with our volunteers he will stand and wait patiently while his collar and leash are being hooked up. He walks very well on a leash and loves to be outdoors. This boy was one of 31 other dogs in a humane case and has had a trying life. He does best with older children who will be respectful of his age and his space. He also has a high prey drive so he does not do well with cats, but he does well with female dogs. This sweet boy loves to sit in your lap or sit close to you while you give him lots of gentle pets.
