ORRSTOWN–Pennsylvania Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding will join potato growers, potato chip manufacturers and potato lovers from across Pennsylvania on Tuesday, Nov. 1, to celebrate the centennial of the Pennsylvania Cooperative Potato Growers Association and their tasty, nutritious contributions to our state economy.
The centennial celebration at the historic Bender Potato Farm in Orrstown will include food trucks, a farm and packing house tour, and highlights of PA Cooperative Potato Growers’ history and present economic impact.
The event will begin at 11 a.m. and include a tour of the farm and packing house on Sandy Mount Road in Orrstown.
