Soak up the tunes. Heavy Spirits Duo, an acoustic creole/ funk piano, acoustic guitar and vocal harmonies will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 29, at 633 Brewing, Waynesboro.

Celebrate with Santa. Summertime Santa will make a visit at a Christmas in July event Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Main Street Park, Waynesboro. The event will include vendors, giveaways and a photo op with the big guy.

Sip and Stroll. Local businesses and vendors have paired up to offer some of the best beer, wine, liquor and cider the area has to offer during Downtown Chambersburg Inc.’s Sip and Stroll, Saturday, July 30, 12:50-5:30 p.m. The fundraising event allows ticket-holders to stroll the downtown and shop the shops while sampling a variety of adult beverages. Tickets are ​$30 for participants; $5 for designated drivers. Rain or shine. All proceeds from this event support Downtown Chambersburg Inc.

Join the revival. Dead Horse Revival will perform at the Monterey Park Battlefield Park & Museum during the Summer Concert Series on Saturday, July 30, from 1 to 4 p.m. The five-piece Bluegrass Band will perform in the pavillion.  Food and beverages provided by B&B BBQ and Antietam Dairy.

Check out the rides. Applebee’s in Washington Township is sponsoring Cars for a Cause Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event includes a car cruise-in and $1.99 kids’ meals. Proceeds will benefit the Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance.
