Chill out with a flick. The Waynesboro Theatre will show “Shark Tale” (PG-1:30) at 2 p.m. and “Grown Ups” (PG-13-1:42)at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 16. Admission is free for kids 17 and under or $3 for adults Sponsored by the Owls Club of Waynesboro. On Sunday, “James and the Giant Peach” (PG-1:19) will be shown Sunday, July 17, at 2 and 5 p.m.  Tickets are $6.

Fly high. Take the family to the Hagerstown Aviation Museum Fairchild Aircraft Dome Hangar for Open Airplane Day Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Climb aboard museum aircraft and see history exhibits. Admission by donation. Those who want to upgrade their experience with a $200 donation can experience the thrill of open cockpit flying in a 1943 Fairchild PT-19 Primary Trainer. EAA Chapter 36 will have breakfast available from 9 to 11 a.m. Ice cream will also be available. 

Check out the Old Market. Chambersburg’s Old Market Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Chambersburg. The event offers, food and craft vendors, as well as entertainment throughout the day.

Attend a wingding. The South Mountain Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a wing feed Saturday, July 16, at 6 p.m. The meal includes wings, hot dogs, French fries, dessert and beverages. Tickets are $15 for ages 13 and older; $7.50 for children 6-12; children 5 and under may eat for free. Photo ID required, must present ticket to enter. Doors open at 5 p.m. Call 717-749-5733 for tickets.

Go with the flow. A Kid’s Pour Party will be held Sunday, July 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mason Dixon Creations. Local artist Flow OG will teach children how to create beautiful abstract art in just hours, without the use of traditional brushes. No art experience required. All materials are provided. Children must be 5 years of age or older. Tickets are limited and must be purchased prior to the event.
