The Institute’s Wee Wonder Series for Preschoolers is Underway

The Institute is offering a trio of outdoor nature programs for preschoolers in July, part of their ongoing Summer Institute programming.

Designed for children ages 2.5 to 5, the Wee Wonder programs will run on Tuesdays in July, from 10 to 11:15 a.m. at Pine Hill Recreation Area. 

Taught by Institute educators, age-appropriate program activities include exploring the outdoors, hikes, nature stories, rhymes, finger plays, nature games, and puppets.

Pre-registration for the full series and payment in advance are required.The fee for all four programs is $21 for members of The Institute, and $24 for the general public, per child. Limited to 12 children. To register, email The Institute at [email protected] or call 717-762-0373.

“Our 2022 Summer Institute has several offerings for kids of all ages, including Summer Stories, Explore! programs, a Discover archaeology workshop, and an all-new Art in the Park art camp,” said Pam Rowland, Institute director of education.
