Franklin County Commissioners to meet

CHAMBERSBURG—The Franklin County Commissioners will meet Wednesday, June 29, to discuss a variety of agenda items.

Included are:

An agreement between the County of Franklin and the Waynesboro Area School District for the School-Based Probation program.  The school district agrees to provide $23,517.00 for services during the 2022-2023 school year.  Franklin County will carry liability insurance for its employees and the program.

A grant request to PA Commission on Crime and Delinquency to request a grant in the amount of $100,000.00 to support a provision of a Mental Health Coordinator at the Over the Rainbow/Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) to meet the growing needs of the Children’s Advocacy Center.  This grant would be for the period of October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2024. 

Consideration of the appointment of Maureen O’Malley to the Franklin County Housing Authority Board for the term of June 1, 2022 through May 31, 2027.

The board meets beginning at 11 a.m. Wednesdays in the Administration Building, 272 N. Second St. Meetings are also livestreamed on Franklin County’s YouTube channel and at http://bit.ly/BOCCLiveStream at scheduled meeting times.
