Chainsaw carving show begins this week

CHAMBERSBURG—The 1st Keystone State Chainsaw Carving and Vendor Show will kick off Wednesday.

More than 40 chainsaw carvers from across the world will be in attendance, plus food, craft and local business vendors. Snyder’s Amusements will offers rides and carnival food Wednesday and Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 2 to 10 p.m. Helicopter rides will be offered Friday and Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. A carvings auction will begin at noon Saturday.

The 1st Keystone State Chainsaw Carving and Vendor Show will be held April 13-16 at the Cumberland Valley Steam and Tractor Show grounds, 1501 Criders Church Road, Chambersburg. Hours are Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Protection 4 Paws, Search 93 and Two Top Mountain Adaptive Sports Foundation.
