Editor’s note: taken from a post in a local social media forum:

“My husband and I attended the Franklin county tipoff tournament in Waynesboro this weekend. On Saturday night when we got there the bleachers were full. Because I have a lung condition where my lungs are only functioning at 53%, I cannot walk long distances or do steps.

While we were standing at the door of the gym, another woman walked up who was on an oxygen tank. At that time, a lady who had a staff jacket on came up to us and asked if we needed to have a front row seat. We said yes. She said, ‘there are some kids on the front row. Let me see if they will move for you.’ She went over to them and within 10 seconds they all stood up and moved to the second bleacher seats. She motioned us to come in. Of course, we thanked the children and they just smiled. Kudos to the staff lady and kudos to those kids. God bless them all.”
