WAYNESBORO—A present in the present is great, but a gift for the future can be extra special.

The Waynesboro Area YMCA offers a variety of ways to give the gift of healthy habits for youth through senior adults.

The Y offers youth development programs’ before and after school programs; kindergarten preparation; and promotes the benefits of lifelong physical activity to children in Y sports programs and camps.

Programs focused on seniors help them reclaim or maintain their health with better balance, relief from arthritis restrictions, and social interaction.

Plus, there are programs and classes for all ages in-between.

When it comes to gift-giving, you can choose to donate money to the YMCA to provide a class to someone in need or to send a kid to camp, or you can purchase a membership for your favorite child or adult that will give them unlimited access to classes and the facility. Memberships range from $13 per month for youth to $64 per month for a family membership.

There’s also guest passes that are good for one day recreational use.
