Former WASHS player makes PSAC all-stars

LOCK HAVEN — Former Waynesboro Area Senior High School football star Quentin Gaskill has been selected to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division All-Conference first team as a defensive back.

Gaskill, a junior at Bloomsburg University, led the Huskies and was third in the PSAC with 89 total tackles for the season.   

He posted 53 solo tackles for the season and had 3.5 tackles for a loss of 10 yards and a sack for a loss of four yards     He also had an interception, broke up three passes, led the team with three fumble recoveries, and forced three fumbles on the season.

He returned a blocked point-after attempt by teammate A.J. Simon against Shepherd for 98 yards and two points for the Huskies.     

Gaskill is no stranger to all-star honors. He was named Mid-Penn Colonial Division Defensive Player of the Year during his senior year at Waynesboro High.
