WAYNESBORO – The Waynesboro Youth League celebrated its annual All Star Day on Saturday, June 14, with a full lineup of games and activities for players, coaches and families.
The day began at 11 a.m. with the Rookie All-Stars taking the field. At 1 p.m., coaches stepped out of their usual roles for a kickball game, drawing cheers from the crowd.
The Minor All Stars played at 1:30 p.m., followed by the Tball All Stars at 3:30 p.m. The Major All Stars took the field at 5 p.m., showcasing the league’s top talent.
The evening featured a Home Run Derby at 7 p.m., with players vying for the title of the league’s best slugger. The day concluded with a special 12-year-old only game, scheduled to begin between 7:30 and 7:45 p.m.
Families and friends packed the stands throughout the day, supporting young athletes and enjoying a festive atmosphere at the ballpark. The event highlighted the community spirit and dedication of the Waynesboro Youth League.
