WAYNESBORO-The Waynesboro Lions Club is offering scholarships to high school seniors in the Waynesboro Area School District to attend an accredited post-secondary institution.
Academic achievement, participation in activities and achievements, will be elements of the scholarship selection criteria. Scholarship payment is made directly to the awardees or selected institute of learning. Awards will take place at the awards ceremony.
Applications are available from any Lions Club member or through the WASHS guidance office.
Completed applications may be mailed to and mailed to: Waynesboro Lions Club Attn: Scholarship Committee P.O. Box 786 Waynesboro, PA 17268 and must be postmarked by April 3, 2023.
The Waynesboro Lions Club was established in 1929 to serve Waynesboro and surrounding communities to help improve the quality of life of the blind, vision or hearing impaired and physically handicapped in the greater Waynesboro area.
