Pack the House Night a Success at WASHS

It wouldn’t be Pack the House Night without elementary school mascots. Here’s two of them. At left is the Summitview Shark, and on the right is the Hooverville Hornet. At the end of the third quarter of Monday’s high school varsity boys’ basketball game, public address announcer Will Kauffman announced each of the Waynesboro area elementary schools (Fairview, Hooverville, Mowrey and Summitview) and asked them to give a yell as part of an informal contest on which school was the most vocal. Each school more than represented their enthusiasm, and no winner was announced. (Lee Goodwin)
