Ms. Vivian L. Moats, 93, of Williamsport, and recently a resident of Elmhurst of Hagerstown, died Monday night, November 30, 2020, at Doey’s House of Hospice of Washington County.
Born May 4, 1927, in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of the late Lewis William and Bessie Leota Boyer Moats.
Ms. Moats was employed with C&P Telephone Company for 34 years.
Surviving is her daughter Charlene E. Guessford and husband Clarence “Bunky”; grandson, Michael L. Guessford and wife Mary Jane; and great grandson, Benjamin Guessford and wife Shawna; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Ms. Moats was preceded in death by siblings Margaret Paulsgrove, Doris Itnyre, and Martha V. Richard E. and Leonard Moats.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is assisting the family with arrangements. There will not be visiting at the funeral home. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
