MONT ALTO, Pa. — The Mont Alto Volunteer Fire Company is preparing to celebrate a milestone this summer as its annual carnival returns for a 50th year with rides, food, live entertainment and fireworks.
The 2026 Mont Alto Fireman’s Carnival is scheduled for Friday, June 12, through Saturday, June 20, at the Mont Alto Fire Company Event Complex, 50 Walnut St. The event offers free admission and free parking, along with carnival rides, games and nightly entertainment.
Kitchen hours are set to begin at 5:30 p.m. each evening. The menu includes burgers, fresh-cut fries, homemade soups, funnel cakes and deep-fried Oreos, along with other concession favorites. Major credit cards will be accepted at the kitchen, according to the event poster.
Ride sales will include pay-one-price wristbands available each day for unlimited rides on the day of purchase. Monday, June 15, is listed as Family Night, with $5 off regular ride-all-night wristbands. The carnival also promotes discounted unlimited rides purchased in advance through a QR code.
Nightly entertainment is scheduled for 7 p.m. on the Snyder’s Attractions stage. Performers include Wallacetown Five on June 12, Hot Fun Band on June 13, Jay Davids Music on June 14, karaoke on June 15, Great Train Robbery on June 16, BobbyD and the Truck Stop Burritos on June 17, The Amish Outlaws on June 18, Dean Crawford and The Dunn’s River Band on June 19 and Chad Laughlin on June 20.
Fireworks are planned for Friday, June 19, at 9:45 p.m., with Saturday, June 20, listed as the rain date.
The carnival is sponsored by the Mont Alto Volunteer Fire Company and promoted as a family event that has become a summer tradition in the community.
