The Pennsylvania Farm Show is set to host its second annual Mullet Contest on Monday, Jan. 6, at the Main Hall Stage. Participants can sign up starting at 11 a.m., with the contest kicking off at 11:30. This quirky competition celebrates the iconic hairstyle with categories for all ages: under 5 years, ages 6 to 12, ages 13 to 18 and 19 and older.
In a nod to nostalgia, there will also be a “Throwback Category” for those who can submit a photo of their mullet from before 2010. This event promises to be a fun highlight of the Farm Show, which runs from Jan. 4 to Jan.11., attracting thousands of visitors each year.
The Farm Show is renowned for its diverse offerings, including agricultural exhibits, food vendors and various competitions. The mullet contest adds a unique twist to the festivities, inviting participants to showcase their best “business in the front, party in the back” looks.
