WAYNESBORO, Pa- Children and families crowded Martin’s Grocery Store in Waynesboro on March 28 for a lively in-store Easter egg hunt that sent young participants searching high and low for colorful surprises.
Store employees hid 1,000 candy-filled eggs throughout the aisles, filling the deli, produce, bakery, frozen foods, and grocery shelves with bursts of color. Kids eagerly brought their own baskets and scoured every section, leaving with baskets brimming with sweet treats.
Adding to the excitement, two golden eggs were tucked among the thousands. The lucky children who found them received special prizes courtesy of Martin’s.
Staff members said they were thrilled with the turnout and plan to continue the event as a family tradition for years to come.
