The future stars for the Blue Devils turned in a sharp performance at the Line Mountain Tournament, finishing seventh out of 33 teams. Kolston Piper led Greencastle by winning his bracket, and was joined on the awards stand by teammates Tucker Mongan (2nd), Owen Hinkle (3rd), Elijah Hess (4th), Noah Winebrenner (5th), Dawson Lobely (5th), Asher Koontz (7th), Reed Sholes (7th), Daniel Jansen (7th) and Teagan Myers (8th).
Another big tournament, the Northern Junior High Invitational, drew the attention of Chambersburg and Waynesboro. The Tribe got a sixth-place finish from Colton Ogburn at 130 pounds, while four Trojans came away with medals: Roger Ashway III (3rd at 94), Tristan Osbaugh (5th at 155), James Kearns (7th at 250), and Mason Graver (8th at 115).
Finally, in the world of youth wrestling, Waynesboro’s dual squad concludes its season with a 12-12 mark after taking second place at the Panther Duals. The Tribe were also active on the tournament scene with three wrestlers — Jaxin Baker (Novice 6U), Carter Baker (Novice 8U), and Ava Baker (Novice 8U) — claiming titles at the Geesaman Youth Invitational at Northern Lebanon.
