Institute for Retired Persons Schedule Week of April 1

CHAMBERSBURG– The Institute for Retired Persons (IRP) in Chambersburg is set to host a captivating series of lectures and activities tailored to its diverse membership base. This week’s agenda promises a rich array of sessions designed to educate, entertain, and foster social connections among attendees.

Monday, April 1, 9 a.m. (Zoom):

Tuesday, April 2, 9 a.m. (In-Person at Menno Haven Life Center):
“18th Century Medicine & Surgery” by Matt Wedd

Tuesday, April 2, 10:30 a.m. (In-Person at Menno Haven Life Center):
“The North Korean Nuclear Threat” by John Ricca

Wednesday, April 3, 9a.m. (Zoom):
“The New York State National Guard During the Pennsylvania Campaign of 1864” by John Miller Note: This lecture is a change from the original schedule.

Thursday, April 4, 9 a.m. (In-Person at Menno Haven Life Center):
“Walking in the Shadow of Death: Grief, Part 2” by Rev. Dr. Andrew Hart

Thursday, April 4, 10:30 a.m. (In-Person at Menno Haven Life Center):
Musical Performance by the New Horizon’s Band
