HAGERSTOWN – Local entrepreneurs and students in Western Maryland have a new opportunity to transform their business ideas into reality with the Fall Launch and Lead: Business Start-Up Accelerator Series, kicking off Sept. 17.
Presented in collaboration by the Maryland Small Business Development Center’s Western Region and Hagerstown Community College, the 12-session hybrid program covers essential topics from business planning and marketing to funding, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Designed exclusively for Western Maryland entrepreneurs and HCC students, the series aims to equip participants with real-world knowledge to build thriving businesses.
Sessions will blend in-person and virtual formats, with the first and final meetings held in person at HCC’s Career Programs Building, Room 211. The cost for the entire series is $129.
“We’re taking care of business — and that means helping you launch yours,” organizers said in promotional materials, emphasizing the program’s focus on practical skills for aspiring business owners.
Registration is open now through the college’s website at hagerstowncc.edu/entrepreneurship-courses. Organizers encourage sharing the opportunity with those ready to take the leap into business ownership.
The series begins on a Wednesday and is expected to draw interest from the local community, providing valuable resources amid ongoing economic development efforts in the region.
