HAGERSTOWN – Holiday joy is in the air and Hagerstown is ramping up the festivities! Following the Holly Fest at the Maryland Theatre on Friday night, the Holiday Market and annual tree lighting took over Potomac Street on Saturday evening.
Throughout the afternoon of the 22nd, guests strolled Potomac Street for a Holiday Market, featuring over 30 vendors, music and bounce houses. Among the vendors included Casimir Bakery, Rosebud Charmed Creations, Frost Bitez freeze dried candy, Ebony Crown LLC and ArtfulEats.

High Expectations party rentals provided igloo bounce houses, which quickly became a hit with the children in the crowd.

Around 5 p.m., as the sun began to set, Potomac Street and Public Square continued to fill in anticipation of the annual downtown tree lighting.
Cannon Coffee was set-up just outside the shop with free hot chocolate, while the North Hagerstown High School band provided holiday music to set the mood.

Missed the tree lighting? City park will also be having an annual tree lighting on Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. Holiday events are planned throughout the month of December leading into the New Year. To keep up with Hagerstown events, check out https://www.visithagerstown.com/events.
