The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency will host four free virtual seminars this spring and early summer to help students and families better understand how to pay for college.
The sessions will focus on loan options and strategies for covering remaining college costs after financial aid is applied.
Two “Borrowing for Higher Education” seminars will be offered from noon to 1:45 p.m. Thursday, May 7, and from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 23. The sessions will provide an overview of student loan options and borrowing considerations.
The agency will also offer two “Deep Dive into Covering the Gap” seminars, which focus on understanding college bills and making informed financial decisions. Those sessions are scheduled for 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, and from noon to 12:45 p.m. Thursday, June 11.
The agency encourages students and families to attend to gain a clearer understanding of available financial resources and strategies to manage education costs.
