CHAMBERSBURG– Residential and recreational areas in and around several Franklin County townships and communities will be sprayed for adult mosquitoes beginning around sunset on June 7. Areas include Frecon Road, Mickey Inn Lane, Mickey Inn Road, Sycamore Grove Road, Creekside Drive, Star Avenue, Monroe Drive, Tyler Driver, Cornerstone Road and Roosevelt Drive in Greene Township; and Fish and Game Road and Birchwood Lane in Washington Township. HAGERSTOWN, MD — The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts has been awarded a total of $3.5 million in funding from the State of Maryland, which will help support of the creation of a new Education Center as well as renovations and improvements to the museum’s historic building.
