CHAMBERSBURG – Franklin County Commissioners will consider a $266,668 program between the county and the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency for medication assisted drug treatment for Franklin County Jail inmates when they meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24.
The funds include a 25 percent match from the Opiod Settlement Fund given to jurisdictions throughout the country. This grant is for Jan. 1, 2026, through Sept. 30, 2027.
Commissioners have several other public service items on their agenda, and there also is time for public comment. The commissioners will meet in Room 824 in the County Administration Building, 272 N. Second St.
