WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Waynesboro Community and Human Services is seeking volunteers to support its clothing bank operations, aiming to expand access to essential items for local residents in need.
The organization is inviting community members to dedicate a few hours each week to assist with sorting, organizing and distributing clothing. Officials said no prior experience is required, emphasizing that reliability and a willingness to serve are the most important qualifications.
Volunteer shifts are currently available on multiple days throughout the week, including Monday mornings and afternoons, Tuesday afternoons, extended hours on Thursdays and both morning and afternoon options on Fridays. Flexible scheduling allows individuals to contribute once a week or more, depending on availability.
According to organizers, the clothing bank plays a vital role in supporting individuals and families facing financial hardship by providing access to necessary apparel. Volunteers help ensure the program operates efficiently and remains accessible to those who rely on it.
