WAYNESBORO, Pa. — One person was killed and two others were injured following a single-vehicle crash early Saturday in Franklin County, according to local authorities.
Police said officers were dispatched around 2:24 a.m. to the 13000 block of Blue Ridge Avenue for a reported rollover crash. Upon arrival, emergency crews located a vehicle involved in the incident with three occupants inside.
One individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
Two additional occupants sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not immediately available.
Washington Township police are leading the investigation with assistance from the Franklin County Coroner’s Office and Pennsylvania State Police. No further details have been released.
