CHAMBERSBURG – The Chambersburg Area School District began its lease of 3,440 square feet of office space at 20 S. Main St., downtown, on Oct. 1, according to Mike Ross, president of the Franklin County Area Development Corporation.

The school district is establishing a downtown Community Engagement Center to support in-town at risk students and their families. The FCADC and the Chambersburg Area Development Corporation are partners in South Main Ventures, which owns the former F&M Trust corporate office adjacent to Memorial Square.
