CHAMBERSBURG – The Chambersburg Community Theatre will present “Fun Home – The Musical” at the Capitol Theatre Wood Center from Sept. 13-15.

The production, adapted from Alison Bechdel’s groundbreaking graphic novel, is described as a refreshingly honest and wholly original musical about seeing one’s parents through grown-up eyes.

Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13; 2 and 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14; and 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 15. Ticket prices range from $15 to $25, with discounts available for seniors and children.

The theater recommends parental guidance for children 12 and under. CCT, a non-profit organization, aims to entertain, educate and enrich the community through live theater. As the resident theater company of the Chambersburg Capitol Theatre, CCT performs, rehearses and maintains office space at 159 S. Main St. #3, Chambersburg.

The production of “Fun Home” marks the opening show of CCT’s 2024 season. The cast for the show includes local talent. For more information or to purchase tickets, interested parties can visit the Chambersburg Community Theatre’s website or contact the box office at (717) 263-3900.
